We’re beyond excited to share big news with all of you! Sticky Header Effects for Elementor is now a part of POSIMYTH Innovations Family, and we’re taking it to the next level.
If you’ve used this plugin before, you already know how handy it is for creating sleek, functional headers that stick with you as you scroll. And if you haven’t tried it yet…well, now’s the perfect time to dive in.
This isn’t just an announcement, it’s the beginning of a new chapter for a plugin we’ve personally admired and used for years. We’ve always believed in building tools that empower users to design better, faster, and smarter, and this acquisition fits right into that vision.
So, how did it all come together? Why this plugin, and why now?
we’ll take you behind the scenes and share the journey that led us here.
The Beginning of Our ‘Sticky Header Effects for Elementor’ Plugin Journey
We first used this plugin during our agency days while building client sites. It was lightweight, reliable, and helped us create cleaner, more professional sticky headers without any code.
If you’ve built sites with Elementor, you know how important a sticky header can be for navigation and user experience.
That’s exactly what the Sticky Header Effects for Elementor plugin delivers: smooth, scroll-friendly headers with effects like the shrink header effect, transparent header, background transitions, logo color change, and the option to hide the header on scroll down.
As we evolved from an agency into a plugin development company, launching products like The Plus Addons for Elementor and the Nexter Theme, we carried that same philosophy forward: building tools that simplify complex design tasks and help users create better websites, faster.
In every plugin we built, our goal was the same: to help users achieve more without getting bogged down in complicated workflows. And in that journey, Sticky Header Effects for Elementor kept popping up.
Whether it was for improving user experience, keeping branding visible, or creating sleek navigation, we kept reaching for that feature. It became clear that a great sticky header tool wasn’t just useful, it was essential.
Why We Decided to Acquire the Sticky Header Effects for Elementor Plugin
Well, to put it simply, As a user first we experienced first hand how useful this plugin was, not just for us but for countless WordPress users trying to create smooth, scroll-friendly headers without diving into complex setups.
It solved a real problem in a clean, efficient way. And we kept thinking: this plugin deserved even more love and attention.
As my team continued using it across projects, we saw its true potential. It had a solid foundation, but there were so many opportunities to take it further, better compatibility, more flexibility, and a smoother user experience overall.
One fine day, we received an email from Robert Wattner and Darcy Govea; Due to their other commitments, they were looking to sell the plugin. However, they remained deeply passionate about it and, more importantly, wanted to see it continue to grow. Our goals aligned perfectly—we all shared the vision of making the plugin as useful and powerful as possible for the WordPress community.
Even after the acquisition, we decided to keep them listed as Contributors in the WordPress Repository, as they truly deserve their place in the hall of fame for as long as they wish to be there. We are genuinely grateful for their contributions to the WordPress community.
That’s when we knew: this wasn’t just a good idea, it was the right step forward. By acquiring it, we could take everything we loved about the plugin and build on it, adding features, improving performance, and ultimately giving users even more value, all while staying true to our mission of contributing positively to the WordPress ecosystem.
Our Vision: Making It the Best Header Plugin on the Market
When we took over Sticky Header Effects for Elementor, we weren’t just thinking about maintaining it, we were thinking bigger.
My team looked at what was already there and saw so much potential. The core idea was strong, but a few things were missing: better integration with the free Elementor version, more design flexibility, smoother setup for beginners, and overall performance improvements.
These weren’t just “nice to have” features; they were the kind of upgrades that could take the plugin to the next level.
Our vision from day one was clear:
Let’s make this the best header plugin out there.
As we set out to improve the Sticky Header Effects for Elementor plugin, we knew there were three key things we wanted to focus on:
- Accessibility – We want free Elementor users and beginners to be able to use the plugin with ease. It’s all about making it simple and intuitive for anyone, no matter their skill level.
- Power – For our advanced users, we’re all about giving them the tools to push their design limits. No need for hacks or workarounds, just powerful features that let you design exactly what you want.
- More Design Control – We’ve added more presets, templates, and demos to give users a broader range of design options. Whether you’re building a website for a client or for yourself, you’ll have complete flexibility to create exactly what you envision, without needing to rely on complicated custom code.
We also wanted to make sure the plugin remained valuable for everyone, whether you’re using the free version or using it with the Elementor Pro version.
At the end of the day, our goal is to turn this into a go-to header solution for Elementor users—something you can rely on, build with, and grow with.
What’s New in Sticky Header Effects for Elementor Plugin?
We’ve been busy behind the scenes, and we’re excited to roll out some major updates to make your experience smoother and more powerful than ever.
1. Now Works with Elementor Free
Originally, Sticky Header Effects for Elementor only worked with Elementor Pro because it needed the header builder, but not anymore!
We’ve made it compatible with Elementor Free thanks to The Plus Addons for Elementor’s Free Menu Widget. That means Elementor Pro is not mandatory to create a sticky header.
We’ve also added an option to install FREE Nexter Theme Builder that can help you easily create headers, eliminating the need for Elementor Pro’s default theme builder.
2. A Fresh Dashboard Experience
The plugin now has a revamped dashboard, right inside the Elementor settings panel, so everything you need is easier to access and configure.
3. New Header Presets & Demos
We’ve added 50+ Ready to Import Header Templates to help you create scroll-friendly headers quickly. And if you want a little inspiration, you’ll also find hundreds of free header demos ready to explore and use.
4. WDesignKit Integration
The plugin also plays nicely with the WDesignKit plugin, giving you access to a huge library of Elementor templates & Section and full, ready-to-import Elementor websites, making your site-building process faster and easier than ever.

By clicking on this option, you’ll be asked to Enable Header Templates.
Once you enable header templates, you’ll need to install WDesignKit to access those templates.
Trust us, WDesignKit is a lightweight plugin and it won’t bloat your site or affect your site’s speed. We’ve carefully tested all these factors to ensure you the best user experience.
You can then easily import templates to get a head start.
To unlock presets, you’ll be asked to get a free Elementor Navigation Menu Widget by The Plus Addons for Elementor
- With the Plus Addons Free, you’ll get access to the Navigation Menu widget, perfect for building your header’s menu without needing Elementor Pro.

It’s all built to work smoothly together, so even if you’re just starting out, you can create a clean, sticky header in just a few clicks.
And just like that, you can easily create a sticky header without starting from scratch.
Case 2: Using Sticky Header Effects with Elementor Pro
If you’re an Elementor Pro user, you’ll also be asked to share your email for helpful updates. After that, you’re all set to go.
